Here is the text


Right click on the name on the layers pallett and select "rasterize type"

Then, Create a new custom blend similar to this.



Ctrl/Cmd click on the layer to select it.

With the gradient tool set to linear draw the blend by dragging the gradient tool from top to bottom.



Don't deselect.

Create a new layer

Edit>stroke

Add a 2 pixel gray stroke to the "outside"



Filters>blur>gaussian blur

Add a .08 gassian blur to the new layer with the outline on it.



Merge the outline area with the graffiti layer by clicking Ctrl/Cmd+E or select "merge down"



Select the layer again. Cmd/Ctrl+Click on the layer thumbnail.

Add another stroke, this time make it black and put it right on the graffiti layer.



Looking good! Now for the shadow.
Duplicate the layer by dragging it to the new layer icon on the layers pallette.

Select the new layer and Fill with black.




Drag the black layer behind the graffiti layer and move down and to the left a little bit.



Here I added a background and changed the layer blending mode of the graffiti to Hard light. See how it blends nicely to the background like it was painted on.

Digitally Paint Comics Like the Pros

In this tutorial we will be using real life textures to assist in color rendering the Lady Blackhawk drawn by DC Comics artist Ed Benes. As you are digitally painting you may want to add details to give certain parts accentuated realism. I have found this brown leather texture sample that will be applied on to the color. We don’t necessarily need a black piece, just as long as we like the texture of the material. We can turn this black by first going to Image>Adjustments>Desaturate. This takes out the color while keeping the light and dark values of the leather.

Even real life black and white tends to have shades of color, so to add realism we will add a light shade of blue to the now dark gray leather by going to Image>Color Balance and adding +10 to blue. Now we have a nice texture swatch of shiny black leather.



If you would like your line art to remain on top while remaining transparent to the color render beneath, select the layer with it and press Ctrl + A to select the entire layer. Press Ctrl + C to copy it and then Ctrl + V to paste it into place. Drag this layer to the top of the layers panel. In the line art layer pull down the drop-down menu and go from Normal to Multiply. This will make the line layer transparent while leaving the black lines while revealing the colors beneath.



In the Flats layer, block out an area to fill with a base color. With this area selected, create another layer on top of your line art. I have chosen a dark gray/blue with the hexadecimal value #3E3E3F.



Open your leather swatch and select the Clone Stamp Tool. Set the Opacity to 40% and the Flow to 75%. Hold in the Alt key and click in the center of the swatch. This will hold the memory of the texture that will be stamped onto our art.

Go back into the art with the flat color and use the Magic Wand Tool to select the paintable area. On a new layer called Textures, paint into the area with the Clone Stamp Tool. To get smaller detailed areas, you can decrease the sample texture by 50% and use a smaller brush to vary the sizes of the texture creases on the jacket. Experiment with your strokes and brush sizes to meet your desired effect.



Now we will go in depth about how to paint with selections to add dramatic shadows and highlights. Let’s go ahead and manage our layers. I like to make a Flats layer along with a Shading, Textures, Shadows, Highlights, and a top Line Art layer.



Just like we did with the jacket, lets block out the rest of the shapes in the Flats layer. There are a couple advantages to having a separate flats layer. After blocking out your flats you already have a base tone to add any details with. However simple or detailed as you wish to go, you will always have your base color there. The flats layer also serves as a nice selection device as you paint in the other layers. Magic Wand the blocked out color and you now have a selection that allows you to color inside the lines like when you were a good little boy or girl.



As you add some dark and light tones in the shading layer with the section blocked out, you will begin to reveal the shapes in a more 3-Dimensional manner. Magic wand each section to brush. Just be sure to select the appropriate layer before painting so you don’t end up painting on your flats. I like to use a darker color and brush the edges and work my way in depending on the light sources you imagine.



Now with the Lasso Tool we will be creating cuts to color in selections. These cuts, or shapes, create a dynamic effect that you often see in printed digitally colored comics today. After drawing a cut, hold down the Shift key to create another cut without losing the first one you’ve drawn. Here I’ve cut out the areas of the jacket that will fill in the darker shadows in the leather folds and areas of Blackhawk’s face and skirt.





You can do the same with highlights as well.



With some experimentation, depending on how fast or detailed you want to go, you can digitally render line art with a style of your own.

Customize Brushes

Add more effects by using your "BRUSH" from Adobe Photoshop.

Step I:
First thing to do is to open a new photoshop file. Make sure it is in grayscale mode, and make it 100px by 100px.



Step II:
This step requires just a little bit of artistic ability, so if that is not your strength, just do your best. Take a 3 pixel, 100% hardness brush and draw in a few birds in varying positions. You could do just one bird, but you will get a slightly more realistic looking flock if you put a few different ones. If you are really having difficulty drawing some birds, I 'm sure you can find some on the internet and then make a brush from those.



Step III:
Once you are happy with your birds, go to Edit, Define Brush Preset. Another dialogue box will pop up and you can give you brush a name if you wish.



Step IV:
Now when you go to your brush selections, you will find your bird brush as one of the options. It should be the very last brush on the list! Select that brush and get ready to customize!!!



Step V:
Now look for your brushes panel. It is normally located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click on the brushes tab and start customizing. I will not go into detail for all of the settings, however, below is a brief description of each setting:

Brush Tip Shape:
allows you to change the angle, roundness, hardness and spacing of your initial brush tip shape.

Shape Dynamics:
includes size, angle and roundness jitter. Makes it possible to randomize the shape of your initial brush, we will be using this for our brush later.

Scattering:
this makes it so that your brush tip shape is not placed on the canvas in a straight line, we will also be using this to customize our brush.

Texture:
this makes it possible to overlay a texture onto your brush.

Dual Brush:
a very cool feature that allows you to combine two different brushes. It even allows you to change how to two interact. We will not get into this setting in this tutorial, but mess around with it...it's very cool.

Color Dynamics:
allows you to use both foreground and background color on your brush as well as randomizing the hue, saturation and brightness.

Other Dynamics:
allows you to change the opacity and flow of the brush. We will also use this for our brush.

Noise, Wet Edges, Airbrush, Smoothing and Protect Texture do not provide additional options, but they do basically what the names say.

As a side note, if you have a tablet, there is also the ability to control most of these features with pen pressure, tilt, etc.



Step VI:
The next three steps show what settings I chose for the flock of birds brush. These are really a matter of personal taste and usually require some trial and error.

Step IX:
Once you've played with the settings and are happy, you want to make sure and save the brush settings. This is done by clicking on the little arrow in the brush tab, and then selecting New Brush Preset. You can then give your brush a name.



Step X:
Now lets use our brush on a real photo. Open up whatever source file you want to use. For this tutorial I will use a source from sxc.hu (http://www.sxc.hu/photo/964480 - thanks redvisualg).



Step XI:
Click on the new layer icon



Step XII:
For this first part, i want the birds to be going from left to right, so under the brushed tab, click on Brush Tip Shape and then on the flip x box. Now the birds go from left to right!



Step XIII:
Now just draw the birds on the canvas!



Step XIV:
Lets create a little more depth to this pic. Make another new layer by clicking on the new layer icon again.



Step XV:
Click on the "Brush Tip Shape" again under the "Brushes" tab. Now unclick the "flip x" option and bump up the size of the brush to around 175 px.



Step XVI:
Draw some more birds, this time going from right to left.



Step XVII:
I wanted to add a few more birds so I flipped the brush one more time and did some in the upper left corner.



Step XVIII:
Now just a few more finishing touches...change the opacity of the first birds we drew to about 47% so they look more like they are in the distance.



Step XIX:
Next, duplicate the background pic by clicking on the layer and pressing ctrl-j. Then move it to the top of the layers palette and reduce the opacity to about 30%. This help to give the impression that the birds are off in the distance, you can see the sunrays overlapping them a little bit.



Step XX:
Finally, click on the layer mask icon and using a brush of about 350 px, 0% hardness, paint over the birds in the upper left corner, this will help them come to the very front!



Step XXI:
Here is the final version.

BAD! BAD! BAD! Yahoo Messenger Boot Programs REVIEW

Unofficial Chat Clients of Yahoo Messenger

A lot of chatter knew that Yahoo Messenger is one of the most popular chat servers service. We can talk by voice, text, even by camera when we use YM chat service. Beside an official chat client Yahoo Messenger, those are many other unofficial yahoo chat client developed by some programmer to support chat activities via Yahoo Server. The programmer developed unofficial chat client for many purposed. One of the most important reasons is to build a chat client that save from attacker via boot attack or other. This mean the chat client become more stable and have a good security. And the activities of our chatting become far from disconnected.

Here I’ll give you some of unofficial yahoo chat clients review (if you want to download the program just email me for the installer). These are yahoo messenger chat client that the most used by chatter in the world wide. I am personally more like to used these chat clients than official yahoo chat client , especially when I was in the chat room. I’ll try to give some of point a view of unofficial chat clients depend on my own experience.

YahElite (An acronym from Yahoo Elite)

YahElite is the most popular unofficial chat client of yahoo messenger. May be the popularity is caused by the stability, speed of connection and security provided by this yahoo chat client. YahElite is free ware software. Therefore you can download and use Yahoo Elite chat client with a free payment or registration. YahElite is created and developed by David J. Binette. The official web site for YahElite is www.yahelite.org.

Goodness of YahElite: Stability, Speed, Security, Tools, and unbootable, no advertisement.

The Plus Point when I am trying this software is the stability and the speed when we connect to the chat room or when we login to the server of yahoo messenger. YahElite also have a good protection again spam, bots and other harmful activities. You can also use a sock proxy or proxy to connect to yahoo server. Webcam is available if you want to see your friend’s web cam via YahSee software. When you want to use your microphone and talk via voice chat, you can also use YahElite option to talk with your friend. Tattoo is available too. You can also make an alternating font easier and better with YahElite chat client software than you use official yahoo messenger. And of course YahElite have no advertisement on it’s, so you can avoid unnecessary advertisement that always make us annoyed.

Badness of YahElite: Emotion Icons, Nickname, Appearance, and complicated

One of the difficulty or badness relating to YahElite is this software not easy to operate, especially, for newbie or beginner users. The options are too many which seldom make a beginner user disoriented. Although the emotion icons more complete than regular or official yahoo messenger, YahElite didn’t support with animated icons. The icons stuck just like silent picture. The appearance of YahElite is not good enough, simple, and minimalis. Of course, this make YahElite not eyes catching. YahElite also doesn’t make nickname appear in the chat room. It is also difficult to use public id in YahElite.

Y!mLite

Y!mLite is another unofficial yahoo chat client software that rarely used among chatter. Created and developed by Craic. C (YM ID craig.us). Y!mLite or Yahoo Messenger Elite have a two mode option login to yahoo messenger server for a better reason. If you want to be bootable when you are in chat room, you can login using YMSG mode, but I recommended you to use DHTML mode to make you become unbootable. This is a good thing belong to Y!mLite.

Goodness of Y!mLite: Appearance, stability, unbootable, and emotion icons

In my opinion, Y!mLite have a good appearance. You can also change Y!mLite skin if you get bored using default skin. The skin appearance of Y!mLite almost like windows xp skin. The stability when you are in chat room is good enough. Y!mLite also become unbootable when you are activated some of bots filter or spam filter and login undre DHTML mode. The icons also complete, moreover, you can also get a number of icons that specially design and created for Y!mLite user. You can also used a voice or web cam in Y!mLite

Badness of Y!mLite: Operating, Popularity, Help and connection

For a newbie or beginner users, Y!mLite not easy to operate and use. Popularity is bad. When you are get problem operating Y!mLite, unfortunately, the Help menu doesn’t help you to find the answer of your problem. You must go to Y!mLite forum to find a help. Trying to DHTML login mode also took a long connection and sometime it doesn’t work when the bandwith of our connetion is too slow.

Yam

Yam is one of the kind of unbootable yahoo chat client I ever proved. I enjoy using this chat client because of the flexibility, easy to install and operated.

Goodness of Yam >> flexibility, operated and appearance

For a newbie Yam is the solution when they are want to have a good and easy yahoo chat client but have a good unbootable. You do not have to install this chat client to operate and using it. You only have to extract to a folder and just in one click you already using it. You can bring a Yam chat client in flash disk and you just plug your flash disk to the computer and using Yam chat client without install in a new computer. The appearance of Yam is also good. You can change the skin and download new skin. You also can use a tattoo when chat in the chat room.

Badness of Yam: Webcam, and text font

Yam does support a Webcam, so you can not see a web cam from your friend or from yourself. The text font also simple and we cannot change enough in text font. When I used a official yahoo messenger and get a message in chat room from Yam chat client the font was small and cannot be resize to a bigger ones.

Yazak Chat Client

Yazak is one of popular unofficial yahoo messenger chat client. Yazak is also a good chat client that design to protect you from b0ts 4tt4ck. In Yazak Chat Client you can also make a simple b0ts 4tt4ck but the affectivity of b0ts 4tt4ck not quite good enough.

Before you installed and operated and downloaded Yazak, please be surely that you have installed official yahoo messenger. Because if you don’t do this, Yazak will never be used, and the error message raising after you wanna run it. And you have to updated Yazak, if you gonna chat in chat room. It is because Yazak need verification code to enter chat room. Almost forget, be sure too, to install VB run program in the Yazak file download.

Yazak Webcam Error

Unfortunately, Yazak doesn’t support with webcam or video viewer or webcam video grabber. Yazak only support voice chat. If you want to see a webcam and captured you have to used Yahoo Intai or YahCamView to do that kind of webcam watcher activity.

Because of doesn’t support webcam preview or video preview (usually error), I am personally rather choice YahElite than Yazak. With YahElite you can see your friend webcam or video even though you cannot captured. But with a screen capture software or with print screen key you still can save the picture of your friends webcam or video.

If you insist to use Yazak Webcam, please note that you may need Ycabby before Web cam Viewer run properly. In my own opinion, I suggest you to use Yahoo Cam Viewer such as Y Intai or YahCamView

Y! Intai: Web cam Yahoo Messenger Capture and Grabber

If you are a chatter maniac, particularly used yahoo messenger, you already know that the web cam viewer used to view cam from your partner chatter can not be capture or grabber or save in a file. This mean we can not recorded the web cam we have been viewed before. Yahoo messenger, indeed, doesn’t give us that kind of tools or support. We only can grab and save the web cam yahoo messenger by pressing print screen and edit that copy screen via paint or other tools image processing. It’s upsetting, is it?

Fortunately, Yahoo Intai have the solution for that kind of difficulties. Y! YahCamView: Web Cam Yahoo Messenger Capture

Beside of Y! Intai, YahCamView or Yahoo Webcam Viewer is an alternative to capture and save web cam yahoo messenger. Just like Y! Intai, YahCamView also need a username to login to the server of yahoo messenger before it going to work. And YahCamView needed a permision before you can capture your friend web cam. Sound like Y! Intai, doesn’t it?

With YahCamView, you can login with 10 user name or ID, so it’s mean that your possibillity to have accepted web cam higher than with 1 or 2 user name. In my opinion, the options in Yahoo WebCamViewer is more reliable and more easy than in Y! Intai. You can also ceck the Keep Trying option to make your possibility getting webcam higher. I notice that YCV cannot be used for webcam room (its not free webcan room)

Y Hook (YHOOK) Chat Client of Yahoo Messenger

YHook or Yahoo Hook is chat client that may be will be useful for us to protect our chat conversation from being hazardous. Y Hook has YMSG Server to login to yahoo chat and at the same time its also will login to HTTP Server. This way of login will make you far from being disconnected or locked.

YHook also has voice recorder that will allow us to record conversation that happen in Yahoo Chat. Ignore list for unwanted ID or bots, Chat Filter, and also has Ignore Message facilities. More chat tools from Y Hook you can see by your self
